Our end of the year show! Lots of
burps from our friend Caitlin, great food from Steve D'Angelo, witty
retorts from Chupacabra and our top 10 or so events from the prior year
recounted. Plus some great blues tunes.
Listen now and join the fun.
Steve
D'Angelo just keeps raising the bar for radio show food. Once again, he
brought burners and ingredients and whipped up fresh food, live on the
air. His salad was so good, I've already ripped him off and made my own
version with warm duck breast. We are so glad that Steve has brought
his talents to Jackson. Go eat at Nick's or the Mermaid Cafe and see what we mean.
For
our last show of the year, we turned our faces to the South, the way,
way South and I dont' mean Biloxi. Our first win, Tapiz Chardonnay from
Argentina was an ever-so-lightly oaked gem that blew us away, even Kim,
the "I don't like Chardonnay" girl. Our second wine was a Chilean
Carmenere, a grape that was thought to be long extinct. Go by Colony wine Market and pick up a case or two.
Y'all's Blues Band
played some great standards and used a few coloquialisms that I've
never heard. Check 'em out next time they play near you. You'll be
stomping your feet, drinking beer out of a 40 and humming right along.
Listen now and join the fun.
